As a breast cancer survivor myself, I am incredibly passionate about supporting this important cause. Seven years ago, I underwent surgery to remove cells from my breast, and two years ago, I had vascular surgery to remove more cells. Today, I am clear, but I still prioritize regular mammograms to ensure my health and well-being. I can’t stress enough how important mammograms are.
Nine women a day are diagnosed with breast cancer in New Zealand. That’s over 3,500 every year. We believe that one day, no one will die of breast cancer. Breast cancer will probably still exist, but we’ll catch it early, and treat it better to prevent it from spreading. Our job is to do all we can to bring that day forward, but we need your help to get there – BCFNZ.
